There are, as of now, 27 automatic qualifiers. That leaves 5 WC spots. The top 4 to me seem pretty much sewn up with Nashville Overton, Bearden, Independence, and Rossview. The only way I see Lebanon getting in is, first win. Second, they need for Cordova, Smyrna, Ravenwood, and Bradley Central to all lose. Third, they need to hope that noone right behind them in the WC standings (Jefferson County, Heritage, Warren County) jump them.

 

Cordova plays Bolton.....that game is a toss up. Both teams are solid squads.

Smyrna Takes on Oakland.....dont like Smyrna's chances. I think the defending state champs take care of business.

Ravenwood has Independence......don't like Ravenwoods's chances either. Independence seems too strong to me.

Bradley Central gets Walker Valley.....I think Bradley wins this one against one of the worst defenses in the state. I'll also mention that Walker's only win was against a winless Rhea County.

 

So it looks like Lebanon's chances are very small, but it CAN happen. They just need Walker Valley to play their best game of the year.

It would be nice to see another District 9 team make it but odds are against it but if the tailback lebanon has is coming back next year i would say next year will be good for you he was allusive and quick and could break one at anytime. good luck to Lebanon in trying to make the playoffs.

      AE has a lot of new transfers and a very good incoming freshman class to mess with the current players.  That's why I'm saying don't sleep on AE.  Many are thinking they can't get back to their winning ways but I think this 2025 team will open a lot of eyes and let the state know, AE won't be an easy win anymore.

      Correct information on your part Waco regarding your years and wins with no generalities. if Fulmer had not been fired, he would have easily been retired for several  years by now. It’s a new regime at TN participating in the deepest football conference in America.

      Take your own advice Mr. Bill.  Memphis should stay out of the national news if it doesn't want people knowing about their "business."  SP's classes of '25, 26 and 27 contributed as well.  At the beginning of the season, we weren't sure if SP could make it out of the 2nd or 1st round in 2024 due to only 2 or 3 seniors only 1 of which played much.  We were extremely proud of that 2024 team for what they accomplished between game 1 and game 15.
