First off, congratulations to Spring Hill on an obviously good season at 8-2 and a #8 state ranking.

Being the parent of a Lexington player, I can tell you that this group was very focused all week long and the coaches certainly played on the disrespect that was being shown on here. First and foremost lets get one thing out in the open, Lexington's offensive and defensive lines completely whipped

Spring Hill all night. I certainly could not say that Lexington would beat Spring Hill 9 out of 10 times as another poster said that Spring Hill could/would do, but I would take my chances. Lexington has really come on strong in the second half of the season as they finally have gotten most of all their players back from injuries. They played the first 3 games of the season without 4 or 5 key All-District type players and lost to a 7-3 Jackson Southside team and an 8-2 (5A) Hardin County team that is going on to round 2 of the playoffs after beating Memphis Ridgeway. Lexington held Hardin County to minus rushing yards and lost 14-0 giving up one TD by interception return. I don't know how far Lexington can go, maybe not even past this week against Page, but they do have a good team. I know that I saw the Massey ratings prediction of Page 20 Lexington 17. I think the players and coaches will like this just fine. Again, congratulations to Spring Hill and their fans on a great season.

You all shouldn't have to wrry about Page you all already beat the 2nd best team in our district. Page is soft up front and if you play like yu did against SH the you will be going to Giles next week.

Bet you wish your team was still in it so you could worry about Page. Pack it up and get ready for basketball, hater.

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
