Well, i just hope that the Westview fans are careful while in Camden. Man...they are taking "their lives in their own hands" in a community like Camden. Why can't this game be moved to Westview where it's safe, the bathrooms are clean, and they have a better playing surface? Can't their be some kind of $$ agreement made?

 

p.s. for you Camden fans scratching your heads...you'd need to read the previous week's Westview/Manassas post to understand or appreciate! Good luck Lions...and Chargers...Camden wins a squeaker!

Wanted to wish Camden good luck. Seen some film on westview, this has the makings of one heck of a game. Camden fans, players and coaches....1st class bunch, stay focused and play it like you did the second half with Lewis and you should be able to get this game. We are pulling for you all. Anyone know if this is available on the internet? Wish I could make it in person.

Very classy of you to step up and say this. There was no offense taken by most. Clearly, this was a stupid post by a stupid person. Every program has them and it shouldn't tarnish the 99% that is good. So, since you were obviously there, clear up one more thing. We constantly get lumped in with other typical inner city schools with regard to our lack of fans. Estimate what you saw on both sides.

 

Also, we hated to lose obviously, but what a great game. Congrats to Westview and we hope you and Milan and Camden , whoever it is, represents the West well. We will be pulling for you from here. The paper had 458 yards for Man, and 262 for Westview. This is to clear one thing up about that. Man has a terrible kicking game. The coaches have tried everything, but they simply couldn't find a solution. So, when Westview's starting field position was the 50 yard line and Man was the 15 yard line, Man just had more to gain to score, which they did. But the desparity in yardage was not that Man shut down Westview and Westview couldn't stop Man, it was more related to starting field position, so the game was in fact as close as the score despit the yardage difference. It came down to Man had 2 turnovers and 1 blocked PAT and Westview had 4/4 Pat's and no turnovers. Again, great game and good luck witht he rest of the playoffs, and for everyone who thinks Man hasn't distinguished themselves, please don't forget to estimate the crowd.

BIG SHOUT OUT TO CAMDEN! Congrads. on the win. Tough one coming up next week, work hard and prepare......shock the world. Lewis is pulling for you. Hope yout QB is okay. Let us know when you find out how he is and if he will be able to play. Once again........Congrads. 1st class win for a 1st class team and fans. :thumb:

First of all congrats to Westview...gave Camden all they wanted and more. The Chargers will be a force to be reckoned with next season. See you then...

 

To the Lions....I /We could not be more proud of you. The way the team over came adversity when Gaskin was injured was unbelievable. When you lose your QB/Safety/Punter/Holder/Leading Rusher-TD producer in a playoff game against a very good Martin team, you are down 3 points in the 4th quarter and still march down the field, score a TD and make big stops on D it was absolutely remarkable. Way to play like a team...

 

Great job #4 Derek Easley stepping up and filling some extremely large shoes, you are the man. #15 Trae White was absolutely beastly tonite....the kid is a baller for sure. Made some great pass breakups that saved sure TDs and knocked the dog-slobber outta some players that'll be seeing him in their nightmares for a while. #19 Kyle Blackburn what can I say, you saved the day...as usual. The good thing is all these guys are just Sophomores so it'll be more of the same next season! Great team effort...let's take it to Milan and take care of business :thumb: Go LIONS!

Wouldn't blow the whistle after play was over and would let 5-6 Chargers man handle one player who was running the ball. Holding on both sides of the ball wasn't called. Ridiculous how this affects games and causes players to get injured. Those flags aren't for wiping the nose. The better team won, but was a nasty game. Hard hitting too. Great season Westview considering how it started. Terrible that Gaskin broke his ankle and can't play next week against Milan. Good luck to all.

Those types of games are fustrating. Congrats on the W for Camden and we welcome you to Johnnie Hale next week. Hope your QB heals quickly!! Would guess the refs will come out of Memphis this week?

      Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.

      This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.

      Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.

      It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.

      That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
