CENTRAL COYOTES WRESTLING TOURNAMENT

Top 100 AAU Wrestling Tournament

Held at Central High School

February 5th and 6th 2010

 

Event Schedule:

Friday-February 5, 2010: Tots and Bantam

Weigh ins-5:00-5:30pm, wrestling starts at 6:15pm.

 

Saturday-February 6, 2010: Midget and Novice

Weigh ins-8:00-8:30am, wrestling starts at 9:30am.

 

*weigh ins will be conducted in a singlet with a one pound allowance (example 75lbs = 76lbs.).

 

*you can wrestle two weight classes, or up a division.

 

Division Age Groups:

TOTS 2004/AFTER BANTAM 2003/2002

MIDGET 2001/2000 NOVICE 1999/1998

 

Weight Classes:

Tots 35, 40, 45, 50, Hwt.

Bantam 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 85, 90, Hwt.

Midget 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 92, 100, 112, Hwt.

Novice 55,60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 108, 119, 132,148, Hwt.

 

Registration: E-mail entries to coachprice92@yahoo.com by Wednesday February 3rd. Brackets will be made on Thursday morning. NO LATE ENTRIES!!

 

Medals: Top 4 placers receive medals.

 

Registration Cost: $8.00 plus current AAU membership card required to show at weigh ins. Make checks out to Purple Pride Wrestling Club.

 

Admission: $6.00 Adults, $3.00 students, $18.00 Family Pass ( 4 Adults limit & all children), Children 5-under are FREE.

 

Coaches Entry: No more than 5 coaches per team. Please send in your coaches with entries so we can get them a coach’s pass when they enter the gym.

This is correct per Aau policy. Coach Price copied a flier that had some misinformtion. We will redo the flier so that two consecutive age groups arent during the same session. This will allow kids to wrestle up an age group. Below is the rule pertaining to this in the Team Tennessee Aau handbook.

 

"Wrestlers may compete in both their own division AND ONE division level higher if the scheduling format of the tournament allows it. Competition in a different division will require the payment of an addition entry fee. Wrestlers will NOT BE ALLOWED to compete in two divisions during the same session."
