purpleblack
Strange weekend for most teams. Scheduling issues, Boys Baseball practice played on fields while games were way behind, poor field conditions wet and (never dragged after), Saturday 1 hour time limits in a qualifier?? I know it was a tough situation and TD did what was thought was right but a lot could have been avoided. Poorly run. Need to decide that the weekend is for Softball not BASEBALL!!! Especially qualifiers Not ideal but all had to deal with it. Congrats to the Knox Fury!!! Maybe ASA will rethink Hendersonville in future and timing of tournament. I think Hendersonville done the best they could under the circumstances they were facing putting on this tournament after the devastating flood 3 weeks ago. Most of the park was under 15 ft of flood water. I think they should be patted on the back for getting enough fields playable. As we all know people like to complain
CFS
Not a complaint and yes I was amazed at what was done since the flood, but with all the new dirt on the fields, they should have been dragged at least 2-3 times during the day to prevent the bad hops late in the day and if it is a qualifier weekend especially with the limited amount of fields available, boys baseball should not have taken up any field space to keep people from playing midnight games and waiting forever to play. The schedule was a mess. I do applaud the City of Hendersonville for getting as many fields playable in a short period of time to even hold the tournament, but during the tournament things could have been prevented and given more than 4 innings to play in a qualifier. Thats all!!! Not a big deal but suggestions to improve. The fields in the best shape were at Veterans where baseball practice was held. redstitch
Dont count FURY94 out. They have picked up a few good palyers this off season also. Who in their right mind ever counted out the 94 Fury? They only picked up one pitcher in the off season, and lost one to injury.
tnsoftball
They have also picked up a lead off hitter since last August.
MS24fan
1. Knoxville Fury > 2. Knoxville Thunder > 3. Frost Falcons > 4. Chargers > 5. Mustangs > 6. TN Eagles and I thought Team Synergy looked really good.

fphs
What team is it that keeps drawing all of the out of state players? I heard there coach is a college coach. He must have alot of contacts. They could win it all this weekend.
3rdbasecoach
What team is it that keeps drawing all of the out of state players? I heard there coach is a college coach. He must have alot of contacts. They could win it all this weekend. Come on, just tell everyone the team that you are obviously wanting to tout. Its ok, really! But don't be spouting crap like : " What team ", "I heard" and "They could". Just say: My team's name is ______ (fill in the blank) and we are coming to Chattanooga and kicking everyone's butts! It will help you sleep better at night. If you're looking for some outside reassurrance, your team is probably getting put out in 3-4 games. But, good luck anyway! tnsoftball
Left the park around 7:30pm. Fury94, Lady Aces, Thunder, Knoxville Blaze, Impact I know were still there. There might have been another team or two.
tnsoftball
AND As far as a college coach coaching it could be the Synergy I think one of their coaches once coached at Belmont, maybe but they went home.
wondertwinpower
AND As far as a college coach coaching it could be the Synergy I think one of their coaches once coached at Belmont, maybe but they went home. Team Synergy's ASA Roster that was there this weekend had: 3 girls from Coffee County 3 from Warren County 2 from Lawrence County and 1 each from Trinity, Brentwood, Independence, Davidson Acadamy and Jo Byrns. There has not been anybody playing in any of the ASA qualifiers with them from out of state. They did have a rough weekend as they could not get their bats going and one of their pitchers was hurt today and was not able to go. Out of the five teams listed as being left, they have beaten the only two that they have played.
