Junior wing Galen Campbell that transferred from Bearden returns to the Dawg house.. It should be a great atmosphere between a battle of the best two programs in Knox. Who ya got in this one???

Should be a great matchup....... imo, these are the two best teams in the Knoxville area with the two best coaches in the Knoxville area.

 

Bearden has gotten the best of Fulton the last couple of years but won't have the size advantage like they had in the past. However, they are probably the only team in this area that can match up with Fulton on the perimeter reasonably well.

 

Bearden is super tough at home. I think it could go either way but if I had to bet, I would take Bearden.

I take Fulton by 5. But Bearden is very tough at home but Fultons experience and ability to win in big games gets them the win.

The difference in the game will be the head coaches. Jody Wright and Fulton has a huge advantage in that area. He may be the best in the state.

Wright is an excellent coach, but don't under estimate Blevins. He lost 5 starters from last years state tournament team, and has lead a group of Jrs to just one loss this year. I would say that these two programs and coaches are the best Knoxville has ever seen

He may be good but Coach Wright is a notch above with back 2 back championships. Beardens guards wont be left open to hit 3's all night long. Fulton will get up in you and contest every shot. Go FHS! Make our district proud!

Jody is an excellent coach but Blevins is a better X and O coach in my opinion. Jody's forte is defense but he is average at offensive X & O's. Blevins is an excellent offensive coach whose team plays good defense. Jody has the best athletes which gives him the advantage.

bearden was robbed. Lost by 2. Rico had 3 at the buzzer and got fouled. What a bad no call. Bearden fans were grumbling. Said they get that call against anyone but fulton. I dont know about that but it should have been called.
