Gibbs - WOW!

Recommended Posts

yeah i was there. was not that hard. we played them too and killed them.

Didn't see Unicoi there, thought they were in school on Saturday. Guess my question is "Is Gibbs that good or is Heritage that bad?"

William Blount looked really good Saturday. Their pitching and defense was solid. Heritage's pitching was good, but the defense was terrible! Lot's of errors! Heard quite a few girls were gone to Ridgecrest. Hope they step it up on the defensive side of the ball!

Only saw a little bit of WB vs Pigeon Forge, but they did put up some offense early in that one. I also think Heritage had about four freshmen in the field most of the day and a freshman pitcher as well. However, no excuse if they are gonna be playing wehn it counts too! Looks like they will take some lumps this spring

Its still early in the season and for most of these teams this was the first or second time on the field together. Some coaches like to use playdays and scrimmages to play players out of position or underclassmen to see what they have and who will step it up.

William Blunt looked promising. Tuck and Campbell will give more than 1 team some trouble this season.

20+ runs or a blanking doesnt really mean anything this time of year.....its still too early to decide who will be the cream of the crop.

I for one am preying for dry weather this season so these teams can get in some much need field time.
