Boys 2010 State Tournament Bracketology Contest

Bracketology is back!

 

This year, the bracketology competition at brackets.jim314.com is open to everyone and there are no downloads or uploads required. Just go to brackets.jim314.com tomorrow morning after the TSSAA live draw and make your picks. I'll post the results after each day's games and we'll see who's the best at picking the winners of the boys' basketball state championships this year.

 

Please note that you must submit your picks for each class (A, AA, AAA) before tip-off of the first game for each class.

Very nice setup! I like the way that the fan has to fill out the entire bracket for each class before the box appears where he can enter his user name or email address. Very nice.

Had over 150 submissions yesterday in the bracketology competition! I'm trying to think of a prize for the overall winner (the person who picks more correct games than anyone else in all three classes). Ideas?

* 416 total bracketology submissions by 198 different users (a few users submitted multiple times and a few users submitted picks with no user name/email given, so those were removed)

* Most common picks for Class A were 75% correct for round one

* Most common picks for Class AA were 50% correct for round one

* Most common picks for Class AAA were 100% correct for round one

* 5 users picked all Class A first round games correctly

* 12 users picked all Class AA first round games correctly

* 71 users picked all Class AAA first round games correctly
