They should have a pretty good incoming Freshmen team.

Bud encourages them to play in the Hooptown High School Fall League every year. I know they have had players representing Wilson Cent in the Hooptown league for the past 5 years at least. The league is open to everyone. It is in compliance with the TSSAA 50% Rule. The league is 5 weeks long. Teams play 2 games 1 night a week for 5 weeks. So, 10 games in 5 weeks. Girls play Tues and Thurs nights. Girls games begin Tuesday, Sept 21 and the league ends Thursday, Oct 21. For more info on the league you can call Derek at 615-439-5973 or visit us online at www.Hooptown.net

I saw them and they looked quick, they have by far the best coach in Tennessee, so I say they will be decent!!

I'd be careful with the phrase "by far best coach in Tennessee". If I'm not mistaken I believe Mt. Juliet has one of the best coaches in the State. AND I believe he has a winning record against Bud. AND Bud has "NEVER" beaten Mt. Juliet in the Cave. AND Mt. Juliet has a winning record against Wilson Central at their gym. IF Bud is "by far best coach in Tennessee" why does he have a losing record to Chris Fryer?

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
