Hancock won their third district championship in a row, and captured their first region championship by defeating the unaka rangers 4-3,, good job boys!

This is by no means meant to offend you. You have the trophy and that was absolutely great. You beat Unaka's number 3 and maybe their number two at the end. They were saving their number one for Fri and had been all week. You will be lucky if you pull off an "upset" of an established Rockwood program. I do wish you the best of luck and hope a team from Region 1 makes it to state. Prove me wrong!

ill def agree with you sportsfan, chambers is #3 if not 4 after the way rasnick pitched this year, congrats to hancock on winning region and to both them and unaka on making sub state but it looks likes its going to be a very rocky road for either team to make it to state this year

Congrats to the Indians of Hancock County on beating Rockwood 12-2 in six. So whoever said that it would be an upset should have been their to see a clinic. Boro Bound Baby...!!!

I can very happily say that I was wrong and offer my congrats to Hancock. Whats the lowdown on the game? Who pitched? Who played well?

 

Maybe Unaka will beat harriman and Region 1 will be well represented at the boro!

Yep. Rockwood had a rough day. Bus broke down, got their just before the game started and then got drilled. Don't think the Tigers were ever mentally in it.
