Falcons get an uninspired 41-6 victory over the Bulldogs. Lake Co. was very sloppy and unmotivated to night in the win. Not making excuses but tough environment to get ready to play in with no dressing room and no bathrooms. Also with last year's lopsided win and with Greenfield putting up 41 on them in the jamboree the falcon players were not as intense as they need to be. Had a 30 minute delay as well for lightening. Sam Hays ran the option offense well and defense came up with big plays. LC scored in many different ways with a Punt Return and Interception return for a TD. Chris Mills had 3 ints. tonight. Must get better play in the interior of the defense and at LB to have a chance to be a really good team. Neither one of the starting DT's started the game even though the Falcons got some solid minutes from big Crawford for the first time in 2 weeks. The other DT had to sit due to concussion. The clock ran continuosly from mid second quarter on. Good thing for LC in the game was no injuries, and the second teamers and freshmen all played the entire second half. The falcons must improve the next few weeks to get ready for district play.
