YEAH YOUR PROBLY RIGHT ABOUT THAT. BUT ITS JUST SAD WHEN YOU GO TO A FOOTBALL GAME AND NOW BY HALF PEOPLE EITHER OR JUST STOP WATCHING THE GAME I WISH WE COULD GO BACK TO SOME WHAT RESPECTABILTY when we went 4-6 under Coach Erik Hutchins i know people out their are saying 4-6 is respectable wjhen your South-Doyle IT IS

Here is my take on the SD program.

 

1. Lack of community support . You can always find a seat at a Cherokee game. Most of the time near midfield. Student support also struggles.

 

2. Lack of depth. Some good players (8, 6) but not enough

 

3. Parent mentality- my son should be this or that is all I hear in the stands

I BELIEVE YOU NAILED IT PLUS IM STARTING TO THINK SOME OF THE COACHES REALLY DONT Want to be coach over their either because at SOUTH-DOYLE THEY GET NEW ASSISTANT COACHES YEAR AFTER YEAR

I agree with all three, and that is why the parents that do support their kids send them to the other schools. This is a cycle that needs to be broken. It will take parents, coaches, community, and the kids themselves to turn it around. good luck
