howdoitknow
I will pick Creek Wood to win the game but I believe it will be much closer than last year's score. This game is Fairview's playmakers against Creek Wood's tough guys. I never bet against tough guys and this CW team will by far be the best team Fairview has played to date! howdoitknow
I was WAY OFF no question about it. Creek Wood's quarterback got knocked out of the game and Fairview rolled to a 34-3 1st Half advantage and never looked back. The Yellow Jackets are definitely for real and I hope everyone in District 12-AA has gotten this memo because if not then it is going to be a long night when you play these guys. Coach Simmons has the defense flying around and playing very hard and on the offensive side Ramey and Branch are as good of a QB to WR connection as you'll ever find. antsINdaPANTS
I am not too fond of the Fairview Qback style, his throws are fundamentally "screwed up" ( tip of spiral pointing at ground in flight) but that monster fast reciever can help him out alot on his bad throws
howdoitknow
I know every single week people wait for Fairview to lose and every single week they score points at will. I just believe it's time to realize that they are a good football team and that they are going to win many games this year.
antsINdaPANTS
Last year i was hearing all this talk about how the new Coach is going to fail, politics, behind the scenes wrongdoings, ect.........this guy has done great from what i can see so far, people wanted him to fail and the program fall apart, its sad people wish that on others, but I am glad to see success. tripleoption21
All of Creek Wood's best athletes were out that game after the quarterback went down had Lee (QB) not been injured this is a much closer game. Had Odom and Tyson been playing the score is reversed.

If you want to base your opinion on fairview's good offense on those games you'll be really surprised when they play someone that is actually a playoff caliber team. antsINdaPANTS
Actually, a properly thrown football should turnover nose down in flight...keeps the ball from floating What game you been watching? Evidently you have not seen this kid throw? If you did you would see that had he properly thrown the ball he would have a great completion record, instead he underthrows most balls, they die in flight. ...Mr. Qbackcoach, please tell me what quarterback throws they way you describe? i would love to see it. ksgovols
Every one of them? A tight spiral hits it's target with the nose of the football lower than the tail. It's called aerodynamics and gravity. Otherwise, it sails on you. If a ball is thrown such that the tail of the ball is lower than the nose when it reaches the receiver, you'll hear folks yelling 'Quack, quack, quack, boom!' as it's floating through the air..... I was gonna let this faux paus pass, but since you're dissing the guy..... Edited September 13, 2010 by ksgovols
