How do you see the district playing out as far as returning players, new players, or the loss of players to graduation?

As a NC alum and basketball player I'd love to see them play well this year but I don't know how they will fare. I think everyone agrees (or should) that CA runs away with the district. Undefeated through the 10A schedule if they are focused for each game.

I like clarksville academy to win the district but i like heritage with a close second. They have a couple of big boyz that can hang with the smith brothers.

The district overall should be in the top quarter (top 4) of the state I would imagine...

 

CA has to be the favorite...

 

I see the district ending up something like:

 

1. CA

2. MC

3. WHH

4. NC

5. HC

6. ER

7. JB

8. MH

 

Where are the district and region being played at this year???

I don't know where districts are but I do know that if 9/10A still follow the rotating schedule it is at a 10A school (regions that is)

I can't remember, are the twins still playing for McEwen, or did they graduate last year? I know CA loses Dyer, and NC loses Buttrey. The big boys are back for WHH, don't know if they lost any starters. Gotta agree that its Malcolm & Martins show this year. However, I don't think they'll run through the district unchallenged. Is WHH in their new gym?

Districts are at McEwen. Not sure about region tourney site.

The twins are gone from McEwen, but the new backcourt might be the best in the district with Garrett Mullinacks and David Harbison... Better vision, more reliable... If they find a guy that can step up in the middle to grab rebounds and put backs they should be very tough...

NC has a solid core of player who haven all been getting solid PT since their sophomore years on the team that went to regions.

 

Could be an interesting year in 10A behind CA.

How does Eagleville get to host again... Didn't they host the region two years ago... Does anyone else in 9A have the seating capacity to hold region... I would imagine Forrest would...

Has something to do with a centrally located gym. Unless something has changed, Eagleville was designated as that gym for region tourneys when 9A hosts. The first and second place teams host first round games, and then the rest of the tourney is played at the designated site. Been that way for a a few years now.
