Having only seen NCS play once and not seeing WHH play at all. I'll say NC by 5-10. I'd go higher but it is a short week and @ WHH.

I'd love to see this game but can't afford to drive down from Chatt and then be back friday morning in time for classes.

excuses excuses....well guess you will just have to hear about it later. Too bad.

How about a little info about each team before this weeks battle.

Nashville Christian: (4-1) Currently on a 4 game winning sreak. Surprising the district with their current winning ways. Best win: Clarksville Academy on Sept 3rd.

White House Heritage: (3-2) No current streak yet, its win one lose one win one lose one. Best win: Eagleville(who now has wins over Moore Co and Forrest)

I know that NCS beat CA 31-21 several weeks ago and CA beat WHH. And that really dosent look good for Heritage, but I have heard that Clarksville Aca had some injuries during that game including the QB. True or not?? Not taking away from NCS or CA but I would not overlook WHHeritage. It was strange how things went south so fast that night at Clarksville Aca,bad game or bad team...thats yet to be determined :thumb: . Also there has been a small change here at WHH :shock:for those who dont know. For the time being they seem to have the roller coaster going Down Hill :roflol: I am really looking forward to this game. This is what high school ball is all about.

NB how has the reception been for the "small change"? Just curious what you and other WHH folks thought about it.

As for the game...before the season this was an easy pick (WHH). My gut still says pick WHH because I'm not quite a believer in NCS yet. NCS has a really good passing game and that has been a huge weakness for WHH so it doesn't look good. Throw in the CA comparison and NCS starts to look pretty good. Then factor in WHH has upgraded their team with Kent Hand...it just gets really hard to predict. Should be a great District 10A game!

Very well... very well. I think we had 6 or 8 out of uniform- sick or injuried for the last game it was nice to have an experienced healthy player on the field. Not to mention the fact that small change is just as good if not better on the defensive side of the ball. Our team speed has pick up a notch or two and they are now two/three dimensional. The rest of the season is going to be fun.

It was the CA qbs first game back against NCS, keep in mind also NCS has had 2weeks to prepare for this with the weak opponent last week. They should be rested and prepared and lets not forget there 2-8 team from last year played with heritage for three and a half qtrs before 2 late tds by whh.

    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
