Wartburg is pretty good this year. While they don't have blazing speed all over the field they do have pretty decent team speed. The defense seems to have a bend but don't break philosophy but all that matters is whether or not they keep the ball out of the endzone. They force turnovers when needed and while they are not the strongest team they play sound football. With #16 returning kicks special teams are some of the best I have seen in a while. All in all they aren't too overrated.

im sick and tired of hearing how good they are. they stole are off and we will show the who best team is week 10.

didnt know you had rights to an offense. Heck i guess ya'll stole it from some college then! Wartburg is beast this year, don't hate just cause they run it better than you.

Wartburg rank is deserving. They are 5-0. Hopefully they can prove that tonight against Coalfield. Thier hardest game are these next 5. Serioulsy, I'm tired of hearing about how amazing sunbright is from oletiger, if theres any team thats overrated is that team with that scrub making them the talk of town.

Why don't you haters let Wartburg enjoy the success they have had so far this year. Here is a program that has struggled of late, and now they are having a good year. Every program has it's ups and downs, I think it's great that Wartburg is having a good year. IMO, it's posters that never played high school football that's doing the hating, because boys that do or have played, know how much time and effort it takes to play football. I say, Congrats to Wartburg, and enjoy the year!!! :thumb:

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
