Although this is a big game, would it be surprising if Brentwood looked past them and more into the Franklin game next week? Seeing as it's going to determine the district title and all.

i don't think so...i think these teams are very very similar...great coaching...good high character classy players...it should be a great one!

That's kind of what I figured. But after seeing Blackman take down Oakland, I know the Bruins are going to have to show up to play to be able to take them down.

Wow! Dude your IQ must be through the roof. Of course they have to show up. Because if they failed to attend the game it would be a forfeit and Blackman would be awarded the win.

Thank you Mr. Obvious.

Blackan 24 Brentwood 21

Dude! Do you have like High School Football On Demand? Dang!

Also it's Blackman, Blackmaine or Blackmane but not Blackan. That's how I get my Grilled Chicken Salad at Toots', highly recommended, veterinary approved.

My prediction goes as follows.... we will play the game! We will play the game to win. We will play till the final whistle blows. This week we have practiced, practiced hard. We will look to establish the run. Once we have done so, play action, bust the seems. I have predicted...no questions please! Yes you over to my left? :popcorneater:

You and Donkey are the only posters on here whos brains are actually larger than your skulls. Thanks for getting PBD straightened out.

We all know both Brentwood and Riverdale are hard games to prepare for due to the Wing-T offense they run. This is a game Blackmans offense will need to score on early and often on to really knock the other team off its game plan. With Blackmans defense playing well this game could be over by halftime, But as siegel found out against Riverdale you can't shut you offense down with a big lead as Coach Shad has been known to do. It should be a great game and a real good 'get ready game' for the Riverdale game.

Blackan by three touchdowns! IT"S BOOKED, LETS EAT! :hungry:

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
