Blackman vs Brentwood

I was not able to make the game last night, which i hated! It sounds like Mather's and the OLine did their thing and the Defense seems to be playing at an all time high level. A friend of mine told me that Blackman's defense was punishing last night. Also, as good as our QB played down the stretch last week, , i just read in the paper that he was 4 of 15 with 1 interception for 42 yards with no TD's. Am i the only one who is afraid that this kind of continued play will eventually come back to bite us? Congradulation Blaze, I'll be there next week for the big showdown!

I would love to see him in a Blue raider uniform

You may would love to see him playing for MTSU, but it will NEVER happen. He is way to talented to play there. This is no slam on MTSU, but simply cold hard facts. If a young man has a choice between MTSU and the likes of an SEC Team like Georgia, Alabama, etc., they are going to choose the later 99% of the time and in this case the 1% will not become reality.

An education from Vanderbilt is second to none. You just can't beat it round here. Now if Itrain has a shot at the NFL, then he might want to try for a different school though. I am still not convinced Caldwell is the man to lead Vandy to greatness. Gaston Miller is getting a top notch education there, but you never hear a word about him and we all know round here that his name was recognized all over the state in high school. Now, I will suggest the Itrain look at UK. We are up and coming and you have to be impressed with our big win last week.

Receivers had had several drops. After game was in hand passing was not necessary, though I think he started 4-6. Why throw it when you can ride the I'Train to the win.

Some people complain about watermelon! :popcorneater:

We Are Blackman! and we don't complain about watermelon.

OK, I'm really trying to understand what you all are saying. I read that Blackman has a QB who can't run, Receivers who can't catch and drop the good passes, And the I-Train who can't be stopped.

Now I'm told defenses win championships. Blackmans defense has a bend but don't break secondary, good line and above average linebackers. All of who will ripe an opponent in half if given half a chance.

With only one loss and one game left in the regular season that I think they will win, all the while being in the toughest district in the state. Can this team win a gold ball?

I think they believe they can and I sure wouldn't bet against them. :thumb:

GO BLAZE!

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
