How exactly, does that happen. Unless the goal was disallowed, in which case it wasn't a goal in the first place. At least in Middle Tennessee, the team that scores the only goal, wins!

It was meant as a tongue-n-cheek comment. It was an own goal that made the difference. Giannelli (sp??) put it in the box and a Farragut defender attempted to clear, but shanked back towards goal. Good attempt to stop ball by keeper, but…

Has nothing to do with taking the fun out of it. It is pinned so you can easily look at the score. Feel free to post how you want on this thread. The pinned topic is just for a score update. We have done it this way for years.

 

Akula is big enough to take care of himself. This wasn't directed at anyone in particular. Just wanted to keep it simple.

I agree. It is bad enough when a player gets tagged with missing a PK, but to mention a name with a tragic loss like this is tough. Own goals happen all the time. Recent ECL action showed that players who makes lots of bucks are doing the same thing.
