Heard the money was never where it needed to be. As long as Coach Ward is in Camden they will be successful.

Henry County is actually doing well this year. They lost to Liberty early and has run the table since.

As most of you know, an undefeated regular season is an incredible accomplishment!! They don't happen all that often..regardless of classification, district alignment, or even how athletic and talented of a team you might have! A huge congratulations goes to the Camden Lions, Coach Kevin Ward (a former All-American), his excellent staff, and the entire Lion community in Benton County! Of course, Week 11, it all begins again, you might as well be 0-0....but celebrate this accomplishment accordingly...It's an unbelievable feeling!

 

GCPioneer...i'm just glad I didn't have to choose between James Counce and Kevin Ward!...two of Tennessee's best high school coaches....who wouldn't want either one?? Both of them simply "get it"!

Coach ward will not be at Crockett co next year unless they offer him an unbelievable amount of money. I promise you my source is better than yours.
