He may LOOK that way and IDK if hes capable of being that guy or not. But most knowledgable players wont shot 3 of 29 from the 3pt line. At some point you gotta tell yourself to let someone else try because your stone cold. I can name at least 3 others that are better on the court and smarter. You have to remember that Summertown has the district MVP (second year in a row).

How do you know who got MVP?

WOW----so much for Cannon Rhodes or teh MR EVERYTHING Jacob Tucker getting it, huh? To hear one person tell it, he was going to be Mr Basketball and make up for gettig robbed of Mr Football--not calling out any names on who that might be though.

I wasnt in the room so i dont know how many votes Rhodes got or Tucker. The vote could have been very close or could have been a landslide. The district is full of great athletes and anyone could have gotten it this year.

I just want to see Jordan Chard step up his game and be the player I believe he can be. By appearances, he LOOKS like the best athlete at Summertown and LOOKS like the most basketball knowledgeable player on the team. I would love to see him rip off a 30 pt night and a defensive showcase--I truly think he is capable of that.

Why dont you enlighten us on who said that?? I dont recall no one ever thinking Tucker could get Mr. Basketball and when Rhodes is shooting as bad as he has some past games and not playing much D it will be hard for him to get anything. But im glad they dont give out award on CoachT because yours wouldn be so good!! But congrats to Clifton if he really won he is well deserving

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
