Takedown tournaments

I keep hearing guys talking about "takedown tournaments," what the heck are they? Does anyone know if/when they will be hosting one in the chattanooga area?

Basically they are just preseason tournaments that focus on takedowns only. At the first part of the year, thats what coaches focus on first. Usually they are 3 minute matches with a continuous clock. Kid with the most takedowns wins. They are mostly just to get the kids on the mat to get them excited about the year, and give the coaches a peek at what they need to work on before they get to their first match. Honestly don't know about any preseason tournaments going on in Chatt town, but if you want to head down to Nashville, we have one of the best in the state at Creek Wood on November 6th. I was actually suggesting that because that is what our coach at Pigeon Forge did but whatever you want to think mikescott. You will fade out. You cant post 30 posts a day for the rest of the year.

Who was your coach at Pigeon Forge? What is the school's mascot? Name a few cities that surround Pigeon Forge? What is your name and what weight did you wrestle?

coach foreman, the tigers, gatlinburg, sevierville, but i live in wears valley and i will tell you my kids name if you tell us yours and i never wrestled there

      You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.

      I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.

      Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
