Does Easton not have anything approved ? I have seen a couple of list and have not seen any listed.

Thanks all!

That is a very small list! In the readers of this forum opinion is this the first step in making high school baseball players use wood?

Do you think we will start seeing lawsuits from baseball bat manufacturers that didn't make the list?

BTW does anyone want to buy a drop 3 Easton SV12? lol!!

I believe that all non-composite bats are still available for 2011. In 2012, I believe that all bats will need the BBCOR stamp.

This is going to cause chaos if its true. We will still use bats stamped BESR but only certain ones? Every umpire will have to know what each approved bat will look like (that wont happen) and you know there will be long delays when one coach says a bat is legal and the other says that its not.

High School baseball will never go to wood due to the cost. College coaches at all levels have talked about how the new bat is as close to hitting with wood as they come. The new bat WILL make a difference

I have yet to see an approved easton bat as well, but im sure they'll have one to add the the national federation's website soon

The SV12 is an aluminum barrel, bats with composite handles are legal as long as the barrel is not composite, that is the issue in question this coming year, now 2012 all bats must be bbcor, so keep your sv12 it is legal!

Having a son that pitches I would prefer wood no matter what the cost.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
