Smartest thing said on these boards so far. If even the "big boys" have divisions, then so can high school.

 

Again, it boils down to how they are split. Merit system is my vote.

 

Myself, I would LOVE to see a tournament AFTER the state championship games that pit the winners against each other. BUT, that won't happen. Club teams are chomping at the bit to get going. An extra week wouldn't sit well with them. Shoot, I remember some players leave the state championship high school game immediately after the game finished, to go to a club tournament that took place the next day.

 

Okay. So as EPL has divisions, where is 99.9999% of the press coverage and why? No one cares about the 0.0001%. Why bother?

College is split into divisions. Where is the majority of that coverage?

US Soccer has divisions. Can anyone name at least 6 teams in the group under MLS (oddly, some of you probably can)?
