Does the Memphis paper publish wrestling results? I know there were matches yesterday, but no results. Is there a way to get the Region 8(?) results?

 

 

The ONLY way most TN papers are going to publish wrestling results is if the coaches send them the results and any other info on the meets they think is newsworth.

I usually check the team websites, they posted there quicker than the paper. I follow Bartlett and their site is www.wrestlingbhs.com. It may help you find the information you want.

Is this a Memphis thing, but I have noticed limited results in the paper and even the Bartlett site as well as others has no results. Online results from Chattanooga are better, others equal Memphis reporting. I see basketball results and scheduled basketball games for each day no wrestling. Coaches are to send in results and? I think this is a major dis-service to the fans. I used to be on top of stuff, but since my kid is not in wrestling at this time and I am new to Tennessee, I am finding it hard to follow the sport. Thanks to this site I can follow some of the action

On 11/23 Stone Memorial took on Hixson and Sale Creek

SMHS lost to Hixson 48-28 with a couple of kids out of the line up ( i over heard some coaches talking) and the defeated Sale Creek 69-15.

They are 1-1 on the year and are back in action tonight at McMinn County.

Indy beat Tullahoma 57-21

They resume action tonight against Eagleville and Father Ryan tonight at 5 at Independence High

Stone Memorial traveled to McMinn County last night and pulled out a dominating 58-15 victory over the host Cherokees.

Next the panthers will travel to Harpeth Saturday for the Harpeth individual tournament.
