Saw Notre Dame play in Knoxville this year. They have a good team. This should be an interesting matchup.

DeKalb fell to Notre Dame 4-0 ending a 8 win streak..Notre Dame was well coached and had great play. DC had several opportunities. DeKalb had a history making season knocking of LA 1-0 and 4-0, claiming the district championship for the first time, And hosting region.DC Ends with a remarkable 14-2-3 record. Great season for the tigers. Im definately gonna miss being on the field.

On a side note.. Anyone know the score of CCS vs FC?

14-0? I think it was probably obvious who was the better team after 4-0, 5-0, maybe even 10-0. Congrats on going to the district championship. It sounds as though Dekalb has had a great year and has made a name for themselves in district 8 A/AA. However, I think an elite team, as Dekalb is trying to become, would have called the dogs off after 5 or 6. I've seen top teams in Tennessee, high school and select, win 5 or 6 to 0 in games which could have ended up 15-0. In my opinion, it's just not a showing of good sportsmanship. Try to achieve certain goals after 5 or 6, such as possessing for 3 minutes before a shot on goal or scoring on a header. As I was once told, games make for the best practices. Good luck to both teams tonight. It should turn out for a good championship. Also, good luck in regionals.

Here we go again... :bored:

14-0 does seem unsportsman like, however everyone on the team played and we removed a forward to add a defender. I asked my team to play as hard as they could to keep our momentum going, because I feel that if a team slows down their play, they can get into bad habbits. Also, there was no negative attitude between the teams during or after the game. It seems that every year some team gets belittled for a high scoring game, but I just want my team playing at their best throughout the post season. Sorry, if I offended anyone.

but I just want my team playing at their best throughout the post season. Great Point--It is real world time....

    • Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.
    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
