Rob_M
The Brighton in D Has been less than impressive for recent memory. What happened to coach Stowe at Haywood county? Edited December 30, 2010 by Rob_M
spread2run
Stowe moved to Dyersburg two seasons ago. Seymore was coaching Haywood the past two years and decided not to return. Over on the AA board we are curious if this will be a good thing for Haywood.
visionaire
The Brighton in D Has been less than impressive for recent memory. What happened to coach Stowe at Haywood county? Less than impressive is kind. Weak as far as secondary philosophy..loves an 8 man front..Can throw the ball all over the place if he keeps the same philosophy at Haywood as he did at Brighton..Brighton had a cupcake schedule and fared well each year as far as wins and losses were concerned..You notice thought and playoff time the general trend has been one and done. slapper
His defensive scheme is unsound. Find the flaw, beat the pressure and light up the scoreboard!!!

Correct on the one and done, but that is not all Brighton's fault. This a fault of the TSSAA putting them in a district where they are the ONLY 6A team and they do not face the competition that they face in the playoffs. Oh wait, they could schedule some other teams, but they don't .
trojanswars365
Heard they added Millington to the schedule. Any truth to that?

fblover
I know the pass defense is very unsound, you can't play press inside leverage all the time with only 1 safety
trojanswars365
Yep! What week? What does Brighton have coming back?
SECMAN
What week? What does Brighton have coming back? It will be interesting to see how well they play defense against the wing-t from Riverdale in week zero.
