I'm no BB coach..........never claimed to be. I have played a little and seen a game or two. I believe this team has more talent that has been there in a long time. Best as I remember there used to be 5 on the floor. It seems to me that SC has less than that.. It's a simple game plan......let them shoot everytime they touch it. And not just shoot it.......make sure it's a 3. There have been games when the 3 s were falling, but if they ain't, at what point do you say "OK let's try something else". Best as I can figure Apple's something else is.......well.......I ain't sure what it is other than jack it up from a different spot....as long as it's a 3 .I do understand why they never sit.......if you only play offense and don't play any defense, you won't get tied, If you shoot the 3 all nite, at least get back and play some simlance of defense to give yourself another shot at another 3. When is the last time SC had ANY kind of an inside game......and don't tell me SC don't have the size or talent either.

Tonight against Clay County..........all I can say is ........UNBELIEVABLE.

Somebody tell me.........have I been sampling the shine too much.........or am I seeing the same thing as everybody else??????

If I'm not understanding or not seeing something........let me know.

Long-Hackett-Salsbury-Carr have got to be more involved in the offense when the 3s aren't falling.

If one or two of these hits the floor at all, and makes a mistake, they are jerked the next whistle. They either play scared of making a mistake or try TOO hard to keep on the floor. There seems to be 2-3 that can do no wrong. The sad thing about this is, I'm a SC football fan and a casual BB fan. (Something to do) and can see this. No wonder some of the better atheletes only play football. I've heard that some think Maynord discourages his players from playing BB .Seems to me......... he don't have to.

The owls looked a little sluggish against DC last night, which is understandable. I like the bench being used more. Salsbury and Carr will only get better with more floor time. Frazier brings a little spark or energy. Salsbury plays good d and gets the boards. Carr makes a few mistakes handling the ball, and sometimes is out of control, but again, that will get better with floor time.

I can't think of a better time for a new coach to get his first win than with a 20+ win against G-ville. Especially when the" blue" came in thinking the Owls would be down and easy pickings. Good job Coach Whitaker.

The one that ran on the floor after the refs.........LOL. What a joke. Makes everybody look real good........Think she would run on the floor for the "TEAM"?? Me neither. It's all about "ME" or in this case "MINE".If you follow SC or Defeated Elem, BB.........you know.

We play too much ME ball. It's all about "ME", not team. As long as "I" get my shots, and "I" get "MY" points, nothing else matters. When did they install a shot clock? I was always taught to look for the high percentage shot. And again.....if you play defense....you may get to get yourself a few more "I" shots. It;s frusterating,,,,,,,,with the talent we have. Maybe some need to be golfing or bowling......that way it's always about "ME".

I have a theory . A very few, that are very good atheles,( in every sport), hear how good mama and daddy were in high school. And we all know mama and daddy were stars(lol),and know more that any coach. The coach shouldn't be telling you that, you should do it this way, so and so can't play, your better than them.It never ends. The sad thing is most of these are very very players and mama and daddy. hurt them more than help them. "MY SON/DAUGHTER" played great. "HE/SHE" had (X) points......... the "TEAM LOST"........but did you see "MINE"??

Let the REFS ref, let the Coaches coach, let the Players play.

Coach Whitt.........regroup and re-focus. You've seen what works and doesn't work. Crank it back up again.
