New district though should be good as all teams are basically in the UC. 1 - White County 2 - Cumberland County 3 - Stone Memoria 4 - Livingston Academy 5 - DeKalb County 6 - Upperman 7 - Macon County

Looks right. 1-4 are locked up (U, YI, LA, W). None of them can go up or down. 5/6(Cc/DC) is still up in the air. 7/8 are locked (SC, MC). If DC wins and CC loses, DC is 5 and CC is 6. Only way DC could jump CC.

It would be record vs common opponent. They would start with the #1 seed and work their way down. Both got swept by Upperman, York, LA. If DC and Watertown tie, Watertown would have the tie break because they swept Cannon and DC split with Cannon. I believe this is right.

Smith County has a pretty good freshman class. It will be interesting to see how they, with the rest of the Owls stack up in the district.

I would say LA #1, Central Magnet #8, and everyone else in the middle.

Smith does have a tough player in #32, they have several others who can play as well. South Cumberland has a great player in #23, seems like a great kid as well from what I could tell the first time I watched him play. #25 for them is athletic also. Rickman has a fundamental team. Not sure about any of the other teams in AAA.

yes, that is an awesome gesture y'all do by asking the opposing team to join in. And I agree with you, those three teams are fun to watch. Should be interesting to see if Smith and South can meet in the AAA championship at the TNT.

Smith County beat South Cumberland in the battle of the warm-up pants ha. Both teams wear Indiana Hoosier style warm-ups. Was an awesome game! Smith won by one, 48-47. I was impressed the most after the game, when both team took a knee at half court and prayed together. Remembering what matters most! Pickett and Huntigdon was wild! Pickett needed up winning by 10 or 12. Smith will play Pickett Saturday at 4:30. Should be a good game!

Tenntwin, I agree. Some very good middle school teams in this tournament. Haven't seen Huntigdon either. Should be a great night of basketball!

Tomorrow night at the James C. Haile in the AA bracket, Smith County and South Cumberland square off at 5:45 pm and Pickett County plays Huntingdon after at 7:00. Should be some good games to watch.

Smith County looked good today against North Cumberland. The Waverly vs Watertown was close game, Waverly came out on top. West side beat pine haven, Macon County over Cornerston, Liberty beat Dekalb Middle and Whitthorne beat Prescott.
