I am sure there will be a few of these boys going down a weight class from their current rankings.

Ortale from MBA was @ 112 last weekend, and I think Robinson from CBHS is also certified @ 112.(EDIT: I was mistaken, Tate is @ 119 and has been all year)

 

I am sure there will others that drop this weekend. Should be quite a few interesting matchups!!

Last I heard Austin prevost for ensworth wasn't wrestling has this changed

Very few D1 guys who are ranked who will be wrestling this tourney

The tournament will be tough as it always is; however, missing a few teams. McCallie is going out of state; Christian Brothers is coming back from Hawaii, will not bring their best at every weight class (who blames them), where can I sign up for this trip???? It will still be a great tournament. 130 lbs will be loaded. If you are wrestling 130 lbs in this tournament and place, you are a stud. Do not know about the rest of the weight classes; however, I can tell you there will be plenty of studs there.

 

Best of luck to all who come and my only hope is the clock will work and all stay safe.

 

P.S. There will be plenty wrestlers moving from from one weight class to another and it will be interesting to see what wrestlers do. Maybe this is a jockeying move by many to see what they need to do for the state tournament.

You definitely cannot leave out Tanner Bates (Mt. Juliet) from the 119 pound weight class. Mr. Bates is undefeated at this point and won the Bradley tournament. Look for Bates to come out strong and show everyone that he's the real deal!

Did not say they would slack off; however, I would be willing to bet my next pay check they will not bring all of the their starters. CBHS has proven they are for real this year, winning the Ryan tournament or not winning it does not change anything.

 

If CBHS wants to prove they are the best this year, they will have to beat Baylor.
