I think Santa Fe could keep the score low and play with PC for a bit, but PC will pull away by about ten toward the end. Summertown should win their match-up, how much depends on if Clifton plays. I think it is very likely that CA will hold court. WC played pretty uninspired in their last game, but they could just get hot and win. Collinwood has been progressing well throughout the year, but I think Mt. Pleasant has the edge at home.

 

With that being said, I think D12 goes 3 and 1. Two maybes equal a win.

I like how you're gloating over the injuries in 12A.......being that's the only way 11A is gonna have any success against 12A and that's questionable at best. Since our #2 (stown) had 4 wins against yall's #1 and #2 this year, it doesn't look to bright for 11A making it to the Regional finals.

Bubba Clifton is playing sat night he could have played tues nght but coach trotter didn't wanna risk him getting hurt even more before the regions

First of all, you wont find a post that says 12A will 4-0 vs 11A. What I have said, though is that it will be an all 12A final. I have said 12A would go 3-1 in the first round based on the pre-district seedings.

If Bubba wasn't going to play, it'd be a factor, but he is, so it's not. Dill is a solid player, but not a superstar, so sorry sweetheart, 11A is in trouble.

Clifton will play in the region for STown, Dill is practicing today he plans on playing limited saturday and if they win he plans on playing Tuesday night, so the injuries are not playing that big of a deal. I still say it will be a 2-2 split and all 12a final with a rematch from district championship

Summertown v Cully--Stown by 15

PC v SF--I think this is intriguing. SF matches up well on the inside but the PC guards make the diff--PC by 16

WC v CA--Another interesting game. If Rice is selfish, CA by 10. If WC plays a team game, WC by 7.

MtP v Cwood--MtP dominate play in the post and cruises to a 20 pt win

Ok, well since those guys are playing........

 

12A #1 Perry County vs 11A #4 Santa Fe = PC wins +12....I believe SF will hang around for a half. I can see foul trouble hindering SF in the 2nd half and PC pulls away in 4th.

 

12A #2 Summertown vs 11A #3 Culleoka = Summertown wins +8.....I see this game being close for 3 quarters. Cully plays pretty good defense. If Summertown's shots aren't falling, they might be in trouble... Clifton wills Summertown to victory in the 4th.

 

12A #3 Wayne County vs 11A #2 Columbia Academy = CA wins +15....CA bounces back from a tough loss against Mount Pleasant and comes out and plays best ball of season! The Dawg Pound is a tough place to play. Can Rice handle the taunts from the student section? I think the Richardson twins will be tough for WC to match down low.

 

 

12A #4 Collinwood vs 11A #1 Mount Pleasant = MP wins +25....NOBODY wants to play Mount Pleasant right now...I'm telling you guys, they are playing some great basketball. Princeton Harlan is a different kind of animal. He's nothing like any player you guys have seen over in 12A on a nightly basis....you'll see what I'm talking about when he blocks every single shot C'wood throws up down low and then runs the court and dunks on somebody's head...kid has a BIG future if he keeps his head on straight. Oh yeah, he's only a sophomore!!

 

 

That's MY predictions on the 1st round of regions folks!!
