It looks like we can add another football program to DII-A West 1 in 2012. Netherland...that sly dog...or sly Lynx?

Welcome to Lausanne, and welcome back to Coach Netherland! While I love virtually all sports, football does something to a campus that no other sport can. With Lausanne's small student body, it will be a continuous challenge to field a competitive team, but every boy that plays will gain an experience like no other. Congrats to Lausanne on showing the courage to step up.

Another football school for Division 2 should help us from always having to eat leftovers at the TSSAA table. Has anyone heard what the Board of Control did with the recent discussion of rotating the football championship games so our student athletes aren't always having to miss the most amount of school because the D2 championship games are always on the Thursday of football championship weekend?
