2. Blaike Henry - Soddy Daisy, 10

3. Holden Schay - Houston, 11

4. Richard Manning - Ooltewah, 12

5. Matt Stull - Science Hill, 12

6. Donald Carpenter - Centennial, 12

 

Goose Manning owned blake henry the last time they wrestled, and has not really been challenged buy any one else at this weight class so far this year just do not see how in the world you have him finishing 4th.

 

btw when you are cutting weight most will be dehydrated enough for three bags of solution...bet there were plenty of kids wrestling if took to the er would have needed 3 bags of solution

Nobody's crying,loser!! Puking 5lbs of weight off is alot different.It takes a big man to get on here and dog out a kid like Goose after everything ,he went through.

if you are an adult...this is very sad!

if you are a child...it is at least explainable...

 

it never benefits anyone to take a personal shot at a teenager...never!

and when it happens...it is always a commentary on the poster...!

i've said it before and i'll say it again to YOU...if you make these kind of comments...then at least sign your name at the bottom of the post...but guys like you never ever do that...

well if that is the case...then i certainly apologize...

sometimes the "typed" word does not translate well...

i just take an offense to teenagers getting slammed on the internet by no names and even more so now since my son josh got slammed by a guy when he hurt his ankle and could not wrestle in the state tourney...

i'll let yall figure out who is what and what is who...

Be careful who you accuse of saying what.I have one name and I have NEVER said one thing about Blake Henry,Holden Schay,The c,or anyone as far as that goes.Show me where I posted anything "negetive" about some kid missing weight?etc...Its apparent you do not no me at all:I cheered for Central wrestlers,I am friends with The Henrys,best friends with some of the central parents,Congratulated Holden Schay PUBLICALLY right here on coachT...."iluvtrouble"made the comment about Goose owning Henry...so get your facts straight. It is obvious that you are IMMATURE,UNINFORMED and UNEDUCATED....

Hang tight 2seamfastball. Mktyl is not Holden Schay's dad, I am. I read coacht but have never had a login to make comments.....until now! Won't know until Monday is Holden has a broken ankle from the Championship match, but let me say this. All of the wrestlers that Holden wrestled in this tournament (including their parents) have been great. 10 minutes after Holden won the finals, Blake Henry (#2) came into the stands and personally congratulated him on the win! What a big thing to do.....I was VERY impressed. Then, during the awards ceremony, Johnthan Roberts and Goose Manning all but carried Holden off the podium back to a chair (since he cannot walk on one leg). What true champions they ALL are. Their parents should all be extremely proud of them, as I was to see such sportsmanship! What a great sport! So, 2seamfastball, you should be careful who you point fingers at. I was NOT the "winners dad" who commented on Gooses update. I'm glad to hear he is OK and was very impressed with his determination to wrestle feeling like he was. There are very few wrestlers that ever really dominate a weight class, and I have always said that to be a STATE CHAMPION, you have to have 3 things to win; Skill, luck, and the grace of God!

First time you ve posted on CoachT :roflol: Somebody tell me the diffrence in what your explaining and what Goose s dad said about a update on his son???? I can, there is NONE..........hope his ankle gets better by the way.

      What has this guy done to you that is so bad? I have spoken to him at one of the games this past year and he was very nice. I am not sure on his ability to coach.

      I see them and Oakdale struggling quite a bit the next few years. I see OS to be the powerhouse of the area for awhile. It all depends on how much Coalfield can recruit.

      I’ve said it all year coalfield isn’t the same team as the last couple years. They have 3 really good players and another pitcher that throws low to mid 80s. Other than that, everybody else is average at best. You could make the argument that their lineup was the worst out of the 4 teams in their region tournament. Oakdale is really hot right now and playing well. Greenback was the second best team there. Wartburg was hitting it well but limped into the tournament with their center fielder being hurt and their best pitcher not being able to go on the mound for them was killer.
