I'm gonna hate missing that one and the West game "live and in person". Gonna have to settle for internet radio broadcasts for both! (Rats!)

 

No "Victory Cone Cakes" untill the Central match-up gentlemen. We'll make it up to you men during the Play-offs.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. I was there in 1998, and saw Carter give Maryville all they could all handle for two quarters and a half. And bear in mind, this is THE Maryville team that started it all --- 15-0, undefeated state champions.

 

Of course, Maryville pulled away in the fourth quarter. Still, the Rebs never got another challenge until the very last regular game (against Halls, who nearly beat us at home).

 

It's hard not to look forward to the Central game, but we need to have passion and desire to be 8-0 by taking care of these next two games, too.

Maryville might put a short in Carter's scoreboard. I'm guessing 56-7 MHS. I'll hopefully be able to see it live if I don't get lost on the way.
