Enjoy it while you can. I caoch youth wrestling in West Tennessee. Our kids are growing and learning by leaps and bounds. By the time some of these kids start filtering into high school, watch out. I have been carrying kids from up here to Indiana, Illinois, and Georgia all year long, and they have either won or placed everywhere we go. Overall its going to be great for the state as a whole. Its about time Tennessee gets some recognition as a wrestling powerhouse. Our kids deserve to get a chance at the next level just as much as kids from the midwest.

Caoch, You are doing what the Chattanooga area has been doing for many years. Good luck in the future.

I am originally from Murray County so I have wrestled Bradley, Soddy, Ringgold etc. I am trying to build that kind of tradition up here. Clarksville High has an awesome kids club this year.

Thankyou Jcddmoon.

Though I'm referring to your earlier post, it the best post I've read since I've been on Coach T. You've now changed my perspective from here on out. I will no longer post anything else about this proposed split. Let the chips fall where they may. I hope that at least one person from each region will take your attitude and initiative. Only then will our state grow. We will ALL benefit from it.

Iron sharpens iron. Others believe that feathers sharpen feathers. But I'm done with that subject.

Your coach was one of my best friends in college. Though he was a heavyweight the later part of his career he did 15 bleacher hops many mornings at 6 am in the top of McKenzie Arena. I believe he has instilled into you the true path to success.

    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
