howdoitknow
Camden Central Lions: 2010 saw the Lions run the table en route to a perfect 10-0 regular season. For the second consecutive year the Lions advanced to the TSSAA Quarterfinals (eliminated by Milan for the second straight year). IMPACT LOSS: Derek Easley, Jordan Murphy, Devon White Cheatham County Cubs: 2010 was a season that started off bright for the Cubs but injuries down the stretch hurt them late (lost final three contests to Camden, Waverly, & Creek Wood) and as a result they failed to qualify for the TSSAA State Playoffs for the third consecutive year. IMPACT LOSS: Shaun Montgomery, Tanner Owen Creek Wood Red Hawks: 2010 was a season in which the Red Hawks dealt with injuries to their top two offensive stars for the first 8 weeks of the regular season. The Red Hawks won two of their final three games (including blowout victories over Montgomery Central & Cheatham County) to qualify for the TSSAA State Playoffs (eliminated by Lexington). IMPACT LOSS: Kimo Odom Harpeth Indians: 2010 was a season in which the Indians lost their starting quarterback to an injury. Despite the loss the Indians remained competitive throughout a trying season (close losses to Montgomery Central & Creek Wood proved to be the difference in the season) and the tribe failed to qualify for the TSSAA State Playoffs for the seventh time in nine years. IMPACT LOSS: NONE Montgomery Central Indians: in 2010 the Indians soared to new heights and reached the TSSAA State Playoffs for the first time since 2004 (thanks to close victories over Cheatham County, Harpeth, and Waverly). It was the first time in the history of the school that they were awarded a home playoff game (lost to White House). IMPACT LOSS: Ty Chatman, Bryant Jackson, Gabriel Sanchez Stewart County Rebels: the Rebels qualified for the TSSAA State Playoffs for the fourth consecutive season in 2010 (thanks to close victories over Creek Wood, Waverly, & Montgomery Central) and prove to be one of the major factors in the district. IMPACT LOSS: Clayton Eaton, Mark Young, Skylar Collins, Taylor Craig Waverly Central Tigers: the Tigers 2010 season was one that was filled with "what if's". Following a hot start the Tigers dropped several close games (Creek Wood, Stewart County, Montgomery Central) and were one of the final teams on the outside looking in at the postseason. howdoitknow
Donovan Stewart Predicted: 1.) Camden 2.) Creek Wood 3.) Montgomery Central 4.) Stewart County 5.) Harpeth 6.) Cheatham County 7.) Waverly This was a district that not many "experts" had respect for when the new plan was announced prior to the 2009-2010 school year. The last 2 years however the district has sent 4 teams to the playoffs each season. 2009 Creek Wood Camden Harpeth Stewart County 2010 Camden Creek Wood Stewart County Montgomery Central In both years Waverly was among the "first 5 teams out" as far as missing the state playoffs is concerned. They were 4-6 each season.
SmashMouthFootball85
This district doesn't get the attention it deserves. I think because their isn't alot of flash. Their is how ever some hard nose tuff football players which can stand toe to toe with flash! I love this districts type of football!
