Macon County looked good I thought this summer. I think WH looked good too but I saw them lose to Smith County. Thats no diss on WH just a brag on a much improved Smith COunty.

 

tht's true. WH did not do very well at our first camp at Wilson Central but we were much improved at the lebanon one the following week. Players learning their roles, playing more minutes, and fitting in new guys with the returners. We will really miss our shooters that graduated and will probably look to score from the paint alot more this coming season. Macon is ahead of us for certain, but I think we'll play them tough. Never can tell how the match-ups will play out till it happens.

White House has alot to prove to me. Pitchfork your talking a big game that I don't think you guys can back up on the court. I see the district being a toss up between Goodpasture and Macon Co.

 

Actually I have been fairly modest about the upcoming basketball season (unlike my football posts). You can toss it up all you want but that is why we play the games. Tell me why you think that macon co. and goodpasture are a toss up. What to they have other than Dallas Grace and Christian Lynn???? I have stated my case for the Devils. State yours!

Goodpasture's best player was hurt last year you stooge! Devon McClain is prolly the best player in the district along with Grace. Along with McClain GP has Lynn and a transfer from Greenbrier that was ineligible last year in Sam Rhoten. GP will win this district and the only team that has anyting to say about that will be Macon

Better watch out for Alex "The Indian" West he is a new post player at GB and he is a beast.

Really? And where does he come from? Who is going to get him the ball? The only guard worthy of guarding outside 10 feet is Peach! Everyone else graduated or is really young. Goodpasture I could see bringing in someone just like the private schools always do. I think it is Macon Co. district to lose with White House and Goodpasture fighting for second. Welch can coach and I think that gives Macon Co the edge no matter what White House and Goodpasture has back this year.

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
