Harpeth returns Andre McWright, Travis Tice, Josh Dillon, and Kyle Odum. Overall they have 18 seniors and should be a major player in what's going to be a "top-heavy" District 11-AA.

Dalton Patterson is returning from ACL surgery and should help. Andrew McWright has to stay healthy for the offense to go as we saw last year.

 

The schedule more conducive to making the playoffs given the current format.

Harpeth is trading in Jo Byrns and Fairview for Nashville Christian and Sycamore. Not gimmes but more conducive to W's than those perennial playoff contenders.

 

It's a now or never year for the Indians.

Hated to see Harpeth not continue the rivalry with Harpeth. This will be the first time in 24 years they will not play. It has been competitive with some years being more lopsided.

 

The Yellow Jackets are headed overvto Kingston Springs tomorrow night to scrimmage the Indians.

Me too Gerry. That has been a good series for a long time. The new district alignments over the years haven't made it very easy to play all of the rivals Harpeth has in football. They dropped Cheatham for a couple of years then Sycamore for the next couple. Now Fairview. Nashville Christian is coming back on the schedule after an extended hiatus.

 

Good luck to the Indians. This is the 5th year in a row they've been capable of making the playoffs. Only got one playoff year to show for it. Get it done!
