Those kids are bigger and faster and will knock your heads off. Just ask Boone.

EHS 31

S.H. 14

The girl kicks a 40 yarder for the Co-Ed football team.

42-7 and 31-14 . . . Those are some pretty strong scores. Do you all really believe Betsy can do that in Johnson City??

Just a little history on Cyclones vs Toppers!

In the last 10 years seven out of ten games have been won by 7 points or less!

Cyclones took the 90's while Toppers have took the last decade!

Start of a new decade! Its going to be a great game! Stats dont lie.

Also Greenville has been a great rival taking 7 of the last 10!

But dont ever think your in a better class just because you have a great year! Never kick a team when you have knocked it down (last year) they may get up!

Go Cyclones!!!!! #75 never forgotten!!!!!!

Possibly yes..no one thought we'd beat Boone as bad as we did. Sure SH and DB are two different teams but don't be expecting the same EHS that you all have played in the past.

Do I think it will be a blowout? Not really.

EHS: 28

SH: 20

If the defensive coordinator makes adjustments and personnel changes as needed, like he should have done against Greeneville, SH wins. If no changes it may be a long night. Always great emotion at this game and brings out the best in both towns about what Friday night should be. SH needs to have its best receivers on the field (great hands, not hype) that can get it done. It has to have middle linebackers that can step up and fill. The guy they brought in at half, big guy - Anthony Head, where in the world was he in the first half while Greeneville ran up the middle at will. You would think that after a team runs the same 3 plays for 3 td's you would get the boys together on the sidelines and try to figure out what the @$%& is going on. Oh yea, probably could't find the room with 20+ extra coaches / entourage in the way - and... why take all the extra players to an away game anyway? Anyone really think many soph. and freshmen getting on the field? Against Greeneville? Anyway, just needed to vent a little.

    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
    • What coach in their right mind would want to come here and set theirself on fire to keep her warm.
    • Shoulder not going to the #### show .   Macon will name the score this year.
    • Plenty of time. The former coach was busy with family and disappeared all summer anyway. Obvious choice has the same family issues. First game is in March 2025.
