Interesting Pick?

They scrimmaged Sequatchie county and had about 95 kids playing. They were very fast, and very very physical. Had very few that played both ways. Had about 35 plus JRS and plenty of returning talent from last year. I think Polk will keep it close for a half, but depth pulls away for Central. There middle school won the championship of chattanooga last year, Allen has walked into a gold mine.Just the upset pick of the week. Good luck to both teams.

Dude you are insane...Saw central at the jamboree and pounders are the worst team in chattanooga.Polk will beat central by 35 or 40 points.

Dude you are insane...Saw central at the jamboree.Polk will beat central by 35 or 40 points.Offense is to little and to young, central's defense might hang around until the coin toss, but after that...polk rolls, mercy rule will be ineffect by half time.

John Allen is a good coach also, do not underestimate him. I think Polk comes out ready to prove something not only to the fans, but to themselves. This is a great group of senior athletes, they will get their rhythm down and be fine. I think Polk pulls out a close one. 24-21 POLK wins.

Polk with a field goal or not making an extra point? I hope you meant the second one haha

Polk wins by two or three touchdowns. Central is improved but still cant hold Polk down especially with Polk having something to prove this week. :thumb:

Who did Central play? I thought they looked decent at the scrimmage..... I think Central pulls the upset... Best of luck to both teams.

Central has a good defense and after last weeks Bradley game I'm not sure Polk's offense is strong enough to win by 2-3 TD's. I do think Polk gets the win but it will be close.

If you like defensive games this would be a good one to watch.

Defminded you got to look past Void he is an Owl lovin Central hater. The Pounders played Baylor in the jamboree and you saw what they did to Soddy last week don't think anyone including the Owls want any of that monster. Hope the Pounders win but it will be a challenge for sure Coach Davis will have those boys ready!! No prediction but good luck to both teams.

I think if you travel to benton this week you will be able to tell the answer to that. Their coach will make sure they don't play like that the rest of the year. Still impressed the support that community gives to their team, wish all our local schools would follow that example. Best of luck. Polk 34 central 7

Well this crow is really good, looks like the good times are over in Benton.

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
