Bradley Central at Blackman

Nobody else chiming in, so I'll start it off. 3-1 Bradley makes the long trip over the plateau to 3-1 Blackman. How do you see this one playing out?

Depends on which Blackman team shows up. You kinda started to see some life return on Friday on the defensive side of the ball. Don't know much about Bradley except they were ranked higher in the AP poll. What does Bradley Ctrl do well? Any big time players to watch for?

I know what you mean about which team shows up. The Bears have been prone to that syndrome, but have been pretty consistent so far this year. Bradley has a reasonably balanced attack. Rushing star is Houston, receiving star is Stovall. Quarterback has shown surprising running skills this year.

 

Our loss was to a very disciplined Baylor squad. I know Siegelman took Blackman. Seems like those were both "quality losses", if there is such a thing.

The Bears are balanced on offense. Good QB #10 Bryce Copeland, good arm and also will run some. Very good RB #5 Justin Houston. Tall WR #6 James Stovall with good vertical leap and deceptive speed. Another good RB named Goldston I think. They don't have much on defense, though. I would be very surprised if Blackman doesn't beat them easily.

But then again, only Baylor has scored more than 14 against the D. However, they do have some inconsistency there.

Can't believe I converted Siegel to Siegelman, LOL. Siegelman was lt. governor when I lived in Alabama years ago!

the bears (as well as every other team that blackman has faced) has not seen anything like they will see in the I-Train...Coach Mac for oakland said on the post game radio show that even after coaching at riverdale in their hey day...he has not seen one like the ITrain...

 

if you defense is not your strength...Blackman may put 40 plus on you...

 

Blackman is actually 4-1...and will be 5-1 after friday night!

Gonna be a high scoring game. Houston was back two weeks ago for E. Hamilton game. could have played the week before. This game will come down to turnovers. Bradley has had 2 weeks to prepare. They just can't take a quarter off. This ones going to be fun to watch.
