Gerry Bertier
They are going to the Husker Plan next fall Maybe it will get less complaints. Haha I don't even know what to make of this guy. The TSSAA would be for it if it brought in more money.
HUSKER
Everybody knows that Husker knows football maybe they should let me make the brackets I would make it all come out of a hat then if would be interesting. who wouldn't love to see Milan vs Alcoa or goodpasture vs CAK that would be the best thing for playoffs don't know who you get first round or where it will be... blackandgoldforlife
HUSKER you are an absolute idiot. How about you go and study up on how the quads are formed and how each team gets which seed this year before you come on this thread making yourself look a fool. Grey Ghost
I've lived in a few places, and Tennessee, from what I have seen and know, has the most dysfunctional playoff system I've ever seen. I don't know who leads your TSSAA or who makes these decisions, but it's odd. Just so I'm not confused, a 4A team can be region/district (whatever you call it) champs over a 3A team - but yet they are in two different classes playing for two different state class championships? Why even have a district champ, if a district has schools from two different classes? I'm just awestruck on this and need help. Additionally, if team A beat team B head to head, and team A also has a better regular season record, team A must travel to team B in the playoffs because team B was first in its district/region and team A was not first in theirs? Sorry, I'm just baffled. I haven't been in TN since they re-shuffled all this region stuff around.

Gerry Bertier
Gerry, are you pretty confident about quad 2? Pretty Confident. Here is how I came up with it. Quad 2 1 Bledsoe Co.- District Winner (9-1) 8 Meigs Co.- Wild Card (5-5) 4 Alcoa- District Runner Up (6-4) 5 Tyner- District Runner Up (5-5) 3 Polk Co.- District Winner (7-3) 6 Kingston- Wild Card (7-3) 2 CAK- District Winner (8-2) 7 Sweetwater- Wild Card (5-5)
Indian
Tyner loaded up the backfield with the big boys and had 63 carries tonight vs Red Bank, according to the article in the FP. Could be an interesting game vs Alcoa.
