If I were him I'd ask for 5 or 10 thousand more dollars a year before next season starts. Then he'll have to flee town with the money before the playoffs start next year with out Macon in them. This should have been a very good Macon team and it really didnt equate to what Pemberton is pulling in on his pay check. Talent level will fall up there for a while unless they have recruited some players. Not long and the boo birds will be back out flying around the Macon co. field house.

While Macon is irrelevant in 5a, Westmoreland will continue to be irrelevant in 3a. As good of a coach as Jackie Kelly is, not even he has been able to turn around the train-wreck that is Motown. I watched Westmoreland two times in the past 2 years and they were the least talented team I seen both seasons. Wanna talk about irrelevant?

You seem to forget that Macon was 2-8, 1-9, and 0-10 before Pemberton got here. Not to mention 3 head coaches in 3 years. My advice to you will be to hush and worry about your Eagles, and not about MC. You must be truly worried about what he can do if he decides to stay here for numerous years, otherwise you would not continue to ramble about it. Besides, who are your sources that tell you that Macon will be 5a? do you know somebody within the TSSAA?

I was and am unaware if anyone wanted or wants him to go. Everybody I talk to is very complimentary of the job he has done. I am personally impressed by him and I know many more people that are.
