Anyone know anything about MAHS. Union City will host first round and winner of this game will travel to Lake County. Union City would love to have another shot at the Green & Gold for sure with falling apart and loosing in the second half of the first meeting. Union City played a good first half on Humboldt but not near enough. Good luck to all.

Union City by as many as they wish, in spite of the fact that UC is a very weak team (No wins over any team with a winning record and the worst tackling team seen in these parts in many years.)

However MAHS is a horse of another color. I have seen them on tape this year and if they are able to get on and off the bus with their entire squad and their equipment (and possibly some of yours), it will be a successful night. Ironically, the Memphis Area Health Services (or System or Something)may be able to treat their injuries and yours both. You may want to bring in some extra bleachers for the team followers (most likely confined to the bus driver), and record some random gunshots for the PA system to make the Lions feel at home--they are located out on Chelsea in North Memphis.

(You'd be bitter too, if you had had been subjected to the MAHS-Douglass tape.) The Lions most definitely sleep Friday night.

No, MAHS is NOT Manaassas. What WAS Manassas still IS Manassas. Out on Firestone in North Memphis, hosting Lewis County in th 3A opening round.

MAHS is a new school, played 6 games in 2009 before 10 game schedules the past two seasons, lost to Manassas (and a bunch of other people). They are terrible but consistent. The TSSAA should give all spectators $5.00 for attending, $10.00 if they stay for the second half.

    • Perhaps it is within the realm of possibility that the comprehension of my discourse, both by yourself and others, may be circumscribed by the boundaries of intellectual acumen. Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
    • They’re building something special there. They have 4 Varsity games scheduled & 5 JV. They are trying for a 5th Varsity game. Beat them now because they will be good in the future. They are building a football field there I think but the rich pricks of Farragut won’t let them get lights so they are possibly looking at property to build a stadium & field with lights
