Any news on the Independence job. I would think that would be a good place. They were dominant when I saw them a couple of years ago.

Heard there has been a hire. That's all I know. It may not be true but I think it is. But the dynamics are changing in southern Williamson County and Indy might not be the power in a few years that it has been recently due to the recent re-zoning. The feeder middle school for Indy only had around 13 girls show up for volleyball tryouts for both varsity and jv this past year. On the other hand, the new middle school that was cut out of the old one had over 50 girls tryout for both varsity and jv. Their jv had the best record in the county and the varsity made a stunning turn around in year two of the school. All those girls will be moving on to the new high school which was built to relieve overcrowding at Indy. Indy should be real good next year but the splitting of talent is bound to affect them down the road.

A number of fans have confirmed that indeed this position has been filled but as far as the rest of this post SJ is the only person that could verify it. Note: Williamson County does and has had an unusal way of progressively allowing students to go thru their system that has little to do with athletics. It is a fast growing County and more has to do with filling up schools. Building schools. The school will make the official announcement of the coaching change. Some students might not know specifically the school they will be attending and may be the reasson for low attendance for a tryout. An announcement of the number of new schools to open this fall has been officially been made by the Williamson County Mayor a number of times and as in previous years, there would be some confusion over the matter.

There seems to be growth in a number of counties in Middle Tennessee.
