Is it true that most of the team is 9th and 10th graders? Why so few older kids?

We played Oakland last night and I know they are very young but those young players are very good. Emmanual Smith was tough. It was a fun place to play. Everyone was great to us. CAK was very young last night as well with 5 guys still in football but I can say this Oakland has a great future with the talent and coach.
