medina
How realistic would it be to be an assistant coach (position coach) while holding down a normal 8-5 office job? Would like to help with coaching, but do not want to leave my current job or teach. Football is my life, but not sure what i could do while working full-time. MCABulldogs
Its usually possible if you can get out of the office by practice time or thereabouts. I would approach the coach(es) you'd wish to assist and see what they say.

BigBuckDown
I have known several through the years its very.doable. Most practices are after school so ur looking at about 3 30 ish. The problem is usually during the off season alot of teams that im familiar with do summer workouts in the AM so if u can get out of those or find a program that does evening workouts. But i know for a.fact that you can be a supplement coach and not teach, several friends do it currently

FBCOACH
If you can't get off by 3PM each day, few coaches will hire you. Plus you have to take the online courses and take the 16 hours of classes to be a non faculty coach in TN.
