howdoitknow
Josiah Lassek, a 2007 graduate of Cheatham County Central High School, passed away this past weekend from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Lassek was a 3 year starter on the Cubs football team from 2004-2006 and earned All-Region 5-3A Honors for his outstanding work at WR/SS his senior season in 2006. Not only was Lassek an outstanding student and football player while in school but he will also be remembered as a responsible young man who was a great father to his 2-year old son. The funeral will take place today at Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City. Next year, Cheatham County will wear a #34 decal on their helmets to honor a young man who truly defined what it means to be a football player for the Cubs!
