Southwind 74 --- Ridgeway 72.. Overtime.

 

 

This game was originally scheduled for tomorrow night but was moved to tonight, Thursday.

 

My guess is that since both of these teams are playing Saturday in the Penny Hardaway Classic...that's probably why they played this game one day earlier.

Great game. Solid execution on both ends of the court by both teams.

 

Ridgeway led by as much as 13 to 16 points in the 1st half, but Southwind chipped away at the lead and steadily clawed its way back into the game. They finally took a brief lead with about 2 or 3 minutes to go in regulation. It was back-n-forth from that point onward and thru overtime.... Southwind won it on a put-back @ the buzzer.

 

Bottom line: Two solid, balanced and very evenly matched teams!

 

Flip a coin.

 

If these teams played 10 times, they'd likely split @ 5 wins each.
