Could someone fill me in on the season that Clarksville has had? They are obviously a very good team. I was just wondering about the teams they played and the conference they play in. I'm a Cherokee alum and i'm just looking for a little insight into this team we play Wednesday. Our first trip to the 'boro, by the way.

Would love to hear from Clarksville natives or other who have played against them!

I hope its a great state tourney on all divisions and I sooo wish I could be there.

Saw them against Hendersonville in the region. Not very big but very good on defense. Good point guard, good wings in Young and Knott and their post players are not big but are effective. Coached by former Vandy player Ted Young. I believe they finished 3rd in their district. good well coached team.

You can go to team schedules off the coacht home page. They finished as 3rd seed going into regional and caught fire. Distric reg season was 11-5. Overall to date is 22-11. Hope this helps. I have not seen them play.

Pretty balanced team. They may not have the best size but have played against it all year in Northeast (Alex Poythress signed with Kentucky) and Rossview (6'10 Kyle weldon signed with army). And this just seems to be their time of year making their 4th state appearance in 6 years. Coach young has built an great program and they will fight til the end. Also expect them to bring on heck of a student section, white out very likely
